CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Credit unions leery of laptops and tablets are not alone. The financial services and insurance industries are lagging behind other sectors of the economy when it comes to adoption of mobile PC technology, according to a new report from Forrester Research. The report says that business services and manufacturing are the two leading sectors in the adoption of the mobile option, and says that the attractiveness of such technology may continue to grow as the price differences between desktop and mobile PCs continues to shrink.
