VENTURA, Calif. – Ventura County Credit Union Director of Marketing/Business Development Gwyndolin Holm has been presented the Tomorrow’s Star award by the California Credit Union League. The award recognizes credit union staff, members or volunteers who show exceptional leadership potential while demonstrating their commitment to the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.” Holm was honored for her efforts in the community, as well as her accomplishments in building the business development program at VCCU. Most noteworthy are the awards received for numerous successful marketing campaigns and business development strategies that have helped Ventura County CU grow significantly. “I was shocked when they announced my name as the recipient of this award,” Holm said. “It is an amazing honor. I look forward to many years of helping to demonstrate what the credit union spirit is all about.” The Tomorrow’s Star award is part of the California Credit Union League’s program to encourage and assist in the development of future leaders, and to commend outstanding individuals and organizations that exemplify credit union principles and values.
