BOSTON – The Alliance Companies, the latest card portfolio brokerage and consulting firm to begin to project a more public profile, has announced that it has added three staff members with card management experience to its card portfolio acquisition team. Two of the three new staff members, Michael Cebrick and Andrew Gaines, come from MBNA and its closely associated brokerage, Kessler Financial Services. The third, Brad Maher, comes from First USA Partners. The company has been working with credit unions to help them evaluate, better manage and sometimes sell their credit card portfolios since 2001 but only began to publicize its work in March, 2005.
