VIENNA, Va.- Service Industry Advertising (SIA) and Dalton Pen has honored Navy Federal Credit Union for creative excellence in the field of advertising and communications content. Navy Federal was honored by the SIAA with five awards: two Gold Awards for its Television Spot and 2004 Pocket Calendar; silver award for the Summer 2004 issue of Home Port, a periodical publication for members; merit award for the 2003 Annual Report; and bronze award for the informational booklet, Getting out of Debt. The Dalton Pen Communications program honored Navy Federal with an Award of Honor for the 2004 Pocket Calendar. "We are very pleased to be recognized for the hard work and dedication it took to produce these publications," said Navy Federal Senior Vice President Marketing/Development Patricia Schneck. Both the SIA and Dalton Pen awards programs reward communicators whose works are especially creative, inventive, clever, and effective.
