Spokane Federal Credit Union, Wash., employees Dick Blain and Liz Mashtare have recently hit major service milestones. Blain has served the credit union for 25 years and Mashtare is celebrating her fifth anniversary with Spokane FCU. SAFE Federal Credit Union, Sumter, S.C., has cut the cake on its 50th anniversary. Yearlong events are slated for every branch where members will be treated to refreshments, free gifts, and prize drawings for $50 American Express Gift checks. SAFE FCU has grown from $75 in deposits to one of South Carolina's largest credit unions with $428 million in assets and 95,000 members. Cumorah Credit Union, Las Vegas, Security and Facilities Coordinator Barbara Olenslager has celebrated 20 years of service here. The board of directors and senior management team presented Olenslager with a commemorative pin containing two diamonds, each representing 10 years of service. Other credit union staffers put together a presentation and song to commemorate the occasion. Alabama Mental Health Credit Union, Birmingham, has recently celebrated its 50th anniversary during its annual meeting. Some 145 members participated in the festivities in Bowers Park, which included dining on barbeque, anniversary cake, and the opportunity to win door prizes such as personal computers. AMH Credit Union serves 12,394 members and has assets of $52 million. Indiana Members Credit Union, Indianapolis, has reached another important milestone – $900 million in assets. The credit union is the second largest credit union in the State of Indiana, and in the top 120 in the nation. Indiana Members serves over 90,000 members through its network of 20 branches.
