WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Credit union marketing campaigns across the country are garnering ADDYs. The American Advertising Federation conducts the ADDY awards through its 200 clubs and 15 districts. The ADDY awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels. Over in Birmingham, Alabama the marketing team at Redstone Federal Credit Union took home two awards for outstanding creative design from the Tennessee Valley Advertising Federation. The credit union’s quarterly magazine – Connections, along with a newspaper advertisement featuring a spring credit card campaign, garnered the department two Silver ADDY awards. “We are very excited to have won these awards from TVAF. Our marketing department is comprised of very talented and professional people and these awards demonstrate their outstanding creative capabilities,” said Redstone FCU Assistant Vice President of Marketing Ken Jost. “Our marketing department has been together for a little more than a year now and to earn these awards in this short period of time is quite an achievement.” Biloxi, Mississippi-based Keesler Federal Credit Union walked away with a gold ADDY from the Mississippi Gulf Coast Advertising Federation for its 2004 Annual Report. The report, designed as a large envelope and included testimonials from members and employees, was themed “Sincerely” and portrayed the credit union’s dedication to member service. Keesler FCU also received a Silver ADDY for its 2004 Elite Prime Member Holiday Card. The holiday card is third in a series of themed holiday cards that are mailed to members age 50 or over and maintain $50,000 in deposits. Each card includes a pewter bookmark that carries out the theme of the card.
