WASHINGTON – Give members something interesting to look at and they might not realize they're even waiting in line. According to multi-media communications firm inLighten, Depew, New York, 35% of the credit unions that offer inLighten's multi-media content in their branches say their members feel it makes their wait time to be served feel shorter. InLighten has 800 credit union clients as well as a number of colleges, other financials and government agencies such as the FAA as clients. It was one of many tech vendor exhibitors at CUNA's GAC. Doug Braun, inLighten Vice President, said his company has hundreds of ready-made marketing messages credit unions can broadcast over the company's private television network. The number one goal of course is to market more products to members. Credit unions can customize the content or use inLighten's stock marketing material. These marketing messages are integrated with a variety of news and information programs on inLighten's VideoNet system. Credit unions can choose a program for each of their network locations.
