SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Security Service Federal Credit Union will become the latest big credit union to use Corillian Corp.'s online banking solutions. The $3.5 billion CU will be deploying Oregon-based Corilllian's Consumer Banking application. Security Service has been using an in-house online banking system, according to the 2004 Credit Union Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates. "Implementing Corillian Consumer Banking will provide us the ability to quickly scale our online banking capabilities in a manner customized to our membership while serving as an excellent platform for future channel innovation," said Jay Winslow, the credit union's senior vice president and chief information officer. Security Service – which has more than 550,000 members and 28 locations in Texas and Colorado – said it also was attracted to the Corillian platform's multi-lingual capabilities because of the CU's diverse member base of English and Spanish speakers. Corillian's current client list includes 20 credit unions, according to the 2004 Credit Union Technology Survey. Of those, eight are over a billion dollars in assets, including North Carolina's State Employees Credit Union, Boeing Employees Credit Union, Kinecta, The Golden One and Desert Schools.
