MOORPARK, Calif. – XP Systems has been named a finalist for an IBM PartnerWorld Beacon Award to be presented Feb. 28 at Big Blue’s IBM PartnerWorld conference in Las Vegas, the core processor says. The Fiserv unit is one of three finalists from 574 nominations and made the cut for its implementation of IBM’s DB2 Universal Database in its new XP2 core platform for credit unions, says XP Systems President John Edwards. “Attending IBM’s worldwide partner conference as a Beacon Award finalist is a tremendous honor for XP Systems, and we have our customers to thank for it,” Edwards says. The XP2 system was designed in collaboration with client credit unions and is now deployed at 220 CUs around the country, the company says.
