WARNER ROBINS, Ga. -Robins Federal Credit Union got a little help from Elvis for its Employee Recognition celebration. Robins FCU President John Ruffin and Executive Vice President Henry Garcia donning classic Elvis garb from gold rings and silk scarves to cape clad jumpsuits treated the over 300 employees and their spouses to a medley of Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog and Don't Be Cruel. “We wanted to show our appreciation for staff and decided to add a fun and personable twist to the evening's activities,” said Ruffin. In addition to the two former NCUA Examiners' performance, three employees who underwent Extreme Makeovers were unveiled. A few weeks prior to the event, employees were asked to nominate themselves or their co-workers who may have been stuck in a fashion rut and wanted or needed a new look. Selected staffers then received a $150 shopping spree with a personal shopper and a day of beauty at a salon. Awards were also presented throughout the evening as Kim Jackson was named Employee of the Year and Diane Blake was named Manager of the Year.
