WOODBURY, Minn. – Postal Credit Union has recently donated $4,458.50 to the International Red Cross for tsunami relief. The credit union collected donations during the month of January as part of its ongoing "Casual for a Cause" program. Employees who contribute are permitted to dress in casual attire. Each month, PCU highlights a local charity. Members are also encouraged to donate and contributors are acknowledged in the credit union's quarterly publication, Dollars & Sense. "Credit unions are in the business of helping people," said PCU President Russ Plunkett. "These fundraising efforts are a perfect example of the credit union philosophy in action. Our members, volunteer board and employees know that by pooling our resources we are better able to help those in need. We thank everyone for their generosity."
