TULLAHOMA, Tenn. – AEDC Federal Credit Union has announced a merger with Columbia, Tennessee-based Maury Progressive Credit Union. “We are very excited to welcome members of Maury Progressive into the AEDC Federal Credit Union family,” said President/CEO Caren Gabriel. “Maury Progressive’s board of directors and members voted by an overwhelming margin in favor of the merger. I am especially appreciative to all the employees who worked diligently to accomplish this merger in a short period of time.” The merger has added $6.4 million in assets and 1,555 members to AEDC FCU, which is the second largest credit union in the state with total assets of $955.7 million. AEDC FCU retained former Maury Progressive CU Supervisor Patricia Ingram and her staff of Renee Hinson, Trula Prince and Melissa Gilmer to continue operating the Columbia branch.
