HALES CORNER, Wis. – There must be plenty of credit union lending going on in Wisconsin. Corporate Central CU reported record lending to its credit union members. As of Jan. 27, the corporate had lent out more than $469 million, twice that of last January and the highest level ever for the corporate. Corporate Central said it is using new capabilities of its new core processing system to design unique loans to meet member needs. In other news from the corporate, it has hired Todd Schneider, a former banker as executive vice president of Business Lending Services, LLC, a partnership between the corporate and Business Lending Group of Appleton, Wis. Business Lending Services will originate and service business loans for Corporate Central’s member/owners. It is currently creating offices in Milwaukee and the Madison area.
