LENEXA, Kan.- CommunityAmerica Credit Union has found one million ways to say thanks to its members. The credit union has recently deposited $1 million into members’ accounts as part of the institution’s Ownership Participation Dividend. Over the past nine years, CommunityAmerica has paid more than $8.5 million in bonus dividends to its members. Bonus dividends are rewarded according to the amount of interest paid and earned on accounts over the past year. The more business a member transacts at CommunityAmerica, the larger the bonus dividend they will receive. “Our members are the foundation of our success and sharing that success is important to us,” said CommunityAmerica CEO Dennis Pierce. “The bonus dividend is a tangible way for us to recognize and thank our members, demonstrating another reason why CommunityAmerica is a nicer place for your money.”
