ORLANDO, Fla. – CEOs attending NAFCU’s CEO Conference had an opportunity to tee off with three-time major championship winner Jan Stephenson during the NAFCU Services Corporation’s (NSC) Preferred Partners 6th annual Golf Tournament. The tournament was held the day prior to the conference opening at Disney’s Eagle Pines golf course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. “I was so pleased that Jan was able to spend the day with our group,” said NSC President/CEO Keith Nolan. “Jan’s approachable style and open interaction during her golf clinic, the pictures with each group, her playing a Par 3 with each foursome and joining the group during the reception were noted and much appreciated. I believe everyone enjoyed Jan’s participation, and it was a great day and a great way for NAFCU to kick-off this year’s CEO Conference.” Honored among GOLF Magazine’s “100 Heroes” during the 1988 Centennial of Golf in America celebration, Stephenson is a 16-time winner on the Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour, including winning three major titles -British Open,1981; LPGA Championship,1982; and U.S. Women’s Open,1983. In 2000 she was recognized during the LPGA 50th Anniversary as one of the LPGA’s top 50 players and teachers.
