DES MOINE, Iowa -Although the full effects of Check 21 may take years to realize, more and more credit union item processors are entering the image exchange world. The Members Group said it went live with Endpoint Exchange last week and has started presenting live image exchanges. “We understand that check processing is not likely to stay around forever. The decline in check usage is a clear indication of that trend,” said Cynde Urness, SVP of Product Management for The Members Group. “But we remain committed to providing the best services available, and that includes embracing technology that helps us to reduce costs and create operational efficiencies for our clients,” said Urness. The Members Group provides item processing for 259 CUs in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and Nebraska.
