BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-Dollar Associates, LLC recently announced that it would be opening a new office in Birmingham in the first quarter of this year. The credit union and government relations consulting firm, headed by former NCUA Chairman Dennis Dollar and former NCUA Chief of Staff Kirk Cuevas, is opening its second office and plans to hire associates in the next couple of months. "Dollar Associates hopes to add additional associates within the next few months," Dollar said. "Our expanding client base requires it and our future growth plans will be built upon meeting our client needs with a top quality product and top notch staff." Dollar Associates currently operates out of an office at 601 King Street in Alexandria, Va. "Our client base has grown considerably and most of our time is spent on the road working closely with our clients," Dollar said. "However, we need two bases of operations from which to better serve our clients when they call on us, one in close proximity to the Washington area and another nearer to our homes and families." Dollar and Cuevas will live in Alabama but spend time in both offices as needed. "We are traveling to our clients in most cases," Cuevas said. "With dual locations we can meet their needs more effectively and better coordinate our demanding travel schedules. It is a positive sign of the growth of our business that we need two offices, and it clearly demonstrates our intention to position Dollar Associates for future growth."
