VACAVILLE, Calif. – Travis Credit Union has hired a business lending veteran to oversee its new small business lending program. The $1.3 billion credit union recently hired Bill Norman to head the department. As business loan officer, Norman will be responsible for small business loans, SBA loans and commercial real estate loans in partnership with Business Partners LLC, a Chatsworth, Calif.-based CUSO, originally formed as Telesis Partnerships, LLC by $434 million Telesis Community Credit Union. Norman brings 16 years of experience in finance and loan operations, including serving as a loan officer for the SBA. Prior to that, he was a branch manager and assistant vice president for CitiGroup Inc. Travis CU serves nearly 124,000 members.
