BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Credit Union Network's Political Involvement Committee's annual Holiday Wine Tasting was a wonderful social opportunity for credit unions to celebrate the holiday season as well as raise funds for CULAC. The event held Dec. 9 at US FCU was attended by 55 credit union professionals and volunteers from around the state and raised nearly $2,000. This is the second year the Holiday Wine Tasting was held to raise funds for CULAC. This year, 16 credit unions pooled their resources to provide the wine and food for the occasion. MCUN Director of Governmental Affairs Joe Mathews said they plan to continue the Holiday Wine Tasting as an annual tradition.
