AVON, Conn. – COCC is now offering its service bureau clients an end-to-end check imaging solution. The former Connecticut Online said it is buying software components from AFSImage and will be utilizing Endpoint Exchange and the NCHA for the solution, which will be available for delivery in early January. “Many more components are required for true end-to-end image processing than most vendors or financial institutions realize,” said Joseph Lockwood, the client-owned company's chief technology officer. “That's because each vendor sells its own piece of the overall image process; the institutions are left to assemble a complete end-to-end solution.” Lockwood says COCC's new agreements with AFSImage, Endpoint Exchange and NCHA enable it to offer “one of the few complete, end-to-end image processing solutions available from a service bureau.” That includes branch image capture, remote image encoding and proof, outgoing image cash letters, and image exchange plus incoming image cash letter processing, reconciliation and archiving, as well as electronic access to check images and e-statements.
