WASHINGTON-The Consumer Federation of America will present a number of informative sessions during its Dec. 2-3 workshop entitled The Consumer in the Financial Services Revolution: Challenges and Opportunities. Congressman Paul Kanjorski (D) is slated as the keynote luncheon speaker. He plans to discuss the agenda of the House Financial Services Committee for the coming year. CUNA Chief Economist Bill Hampel also will participate in the opening panel concerning the impact of rising interest rates on consumers with Mortgage Bankers Association of America Chief Economist Douglas Duncan and Freddie Mac Chief Economist Frank Nothaft.
