Written by the Georgia Credit UnionAffiliates Advocacy team, the article explains how credit unionsserve their members and communities. Included are comments frommembers who have been helped by their credit unions in a variety ofsituations. The feature also provides statistics on Georgia creditunions, as well as contact information for business leadersinterested in learning more about them. “Credit unions have a greatstory to tell,” said GCUA Senior Vice President Advocacy CindyConnelly. “We believe it was important to share this story withGeorgia business leaders and legislators through Georgia Trend toshow how credit unions make a difference in their members' liveseveryday.” Georgia Trend magazine, published in Atlanta, coversGeorgia business and politics, and has a readership of more than167,000 readers including business leaders and legislators.
