PHOENIX – International Credit Union Day is getting celebrated in Arizona this month with a radio ad blitz by the Arizona Credit Union System. The League said it was beginning a new series of 60-second radio ads in the Tucson and Phoenix markets on "Top 10 Reasons to Join a Credit Union" to run through Oct. 21. The radio ads in AM and PM drive times were also airing each weekday from Oct. 11 -21 on Arizona News Radio, delivered through the Skyview Satellite Networks on 28 radio stations. The ads coincide with a first-time purchase of a special CU supplement appearing as inserts in two business journals. The league said it has partnered with The Business Journal in Phoenix and Inside Tucson Business to produce the supplement that will be distributed though Oct. 18. The league said CUs "supported the supplement by purchasing advertising to complement the articles that explain the credit union difference, reasons to join a credit union and financial tips for consumers and small businesses."
