MADISON, Wis.- CUES is the latest organization to add to the collection at America's Credit Union Museum. An exhibit showcasing the history of CUES and its part in the development of credit unions in the United States was recently unveiled. The CUES display includes a timeline and photos narrating CUES' 42-year history and its contributions to the movement. Also as part of the exhibit are examples of CUES' logos through the years, the first and 25th anniversary issues of CUES' Credit Union Management magazine and samples of CUES memorabilia, such as trophies, membership pins, patches and bracelets. "America's Credit Union Museum belongs to all credit unions across the country, and it serves as a wonderful resource for historical information about the movement. We're pleased to have the CUES exhibit as part of our offerings," said Peggy J. Powell, the museum's executive director. Supporters who generously loaned their historical items for the CUES display include:Hank Klein, CUES Board member and president/CEO of Arkansas FCU; Ludelle Morrow, charter CUES member, past CUES Board chairman, and past president/CEO of Provident CU; and Perry Dawson, charter CUES member, and past president/CEO of Suncoast Schools FCU.
