DALTON, Ga. – Georgia Federal Credit Union's Dalton branch goes to the head of the class for innovation in promoting its home equity and other consumer loans. Staffers played up a graduation theme by sporting graduation caps and gowns while handing out "diplomas" imprinted with GFCU's home equity and car loan promotions. Messages ranged from "Does your graduate need funds for college? At 4% GFCU's Home Equity Loan can send them on their way" to " Let us give your graduate keys to their future-with GFCU and Alliance Leasing get $500 off a vehicle purchase." To keep it fun, members were even encouraged to play a graduation game to identify their favorite GFCU graduate (employee) based on their high school graduation pictures, which were on display in the lobby. According to GFCU Public Relations Coordinator Katie Sweeney members loved the promotion.
