ONTARIO, Canada – Windsor Family Credit Union has been presented the 2004 Innovation Award for Marketing by Credit Union Central of Ontario. The Innovation Awards provide an opportunity to recognize innovation and excellence among Ontario credit unions and highlight the growth and advantages of credit unions. The credit union was recognized for its outdoor awareness campaign that encouraged the public to look to Windsor Family for all their financial service needs as well as encourage members who live in the South Windsor area to use its new state-of-the-art branch. "Over the years, Windsor Family has made it our goal to create innovative marketing campaigns that not only market the `credit union philosophy' but that identify Windsor Family as a leader in the financial services industry," said WFCU President/CEO Martin J. Komsa. "To be recognized for these efforts for the second consecutive year is an honor and an encouraging reinforcement that the message credit unions are presenting to the public is being heard."
