CORVALLIS, Ore. – More than 560 people attended the client groupgathering held recently by Summit Information Systems in San Diego.The four-day event featured more than 30 sessions on topics such asmember-relationship management strategies to disaster recovery andsecurity, while more than 50 exhibitors and industry expertsparticipated in the accompanying Technology Fair and ExhibitorShowcase. “Credit union executives are tired of hearing theoreticaldiscussions about technology. This year's conference topicsconcentrated on the practical aspects of running a credit unionefficiently using 21st century credit union technology,” saidSummit President Kevin Sparks. Keynote speaker was MarkSievewright, until recently president of TowerGroup. Summit is aFiserv core processing unit with more than 300 credit unionclients.
