ATLANTA – Georgia Federal Credit Union is ensuring that local high school seniors here graduate with honors in financial literacy. GFCU has recently presented "The Wise Use of Credit" to over 300 senior students at Lakeside High School. Using materials from the National Endowment for Financial Education High School Financial Planning Program, GFCU promotes financial education to all nine county school systems served. "This was a fantastic opportunity for Georgia Federal Credit Union to teach teens how to read a credit report and stress the importance of good credit history," said GFCU Public Relations Coordinator Katie Sweeney.
