CHICAGO- Executives from two community development credit unions will take part in a moderated panel discussion on whether credit unions partnering with check cashers really benefits low income people. Joy Cousminer, CEO of the $9 million Bethex Federal Credit Union, headquartered in the Bronx, will present to a panel that will include Ed Jacob, CEO of the $9 million North Side Community FCU. Abby Hans, Former Chairman of the Financial Service Centers of America and Marva Williams, Woodstock Institute round out that panel. The event will take place on Wednesday May 26th at LaSalle Bank in Chicago.
