NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Credit unions serving police officers will soon have a new conference option. Bator Training & Consulting, Inc. in Naperville, Ill. is currently working on the design for what it believes is the first ever conference for CUs with police officers as their primary FOM. The Police Officers' Credit Union Conference will be held at the Palmer House Hilton in downtown Chicago on July 15-16. BTC conducted a survey among executives of credit unions that serve police officers to find out what topics they're most interested in - debt and credit issues along with marketing to police officers were the top two topics. Both of these topics will be covered at the conference. Chicago Patrolmen's Federal Credit Union will host the event with BTC facilitating. Those interested can get more info by calling BTC at (630) 854-6380. BTC is led by Ken Bator, a former marketing exec for Mid-States Corporate who started his own consulting firm.
