COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Air Academy Federal Credit Union has merged with District Eight Federal Credit Union. With the merger, AAFCU will now have a branch in Fountain, Colorado and serve 10 school districts. The $238 million credit union currently provides area schools in-classroom financial education classes for grades K-12, art scholarship programs, and student-run branches. District Eight CU has $4 million in assets and serves 1,010 members.
