LYNCHBURG, Va. – Virginia League Corporate FCU has changed its name to VACORP. The only remaining corporate with "League" in its name is Iowa League Corporate Central CU. Leagues and corporates used to be tied together until NCUA separated the organizations in the early `90s. A VACORP spokesperson said the name change reflects a whole new look for the corporate including a new Web site, new services, as well as its new CEO, Jim Hansen, who replaced David Miles earlier this year.
