Thebank is offering identity theft victims their own team ofspecialists through its new Citi Identity Theft Solutions program.Designed to help save consumers significant time, money andfrustration should their identity be stolen, the program is free tocardmembers. Here is how it works. Once a cardmember becomes avictim of identity theft, an IDT Specialist will open a case forthe individual and, working on a one-on-one basis, will take thecustomer through a process that ranges from placing "Fraud Alerts"on credit reports at all three credit bureaus to monitoring thecase and providing support until it is closed.
