ROANOKE, Va. – The local police department and Tactical Response Unit now have a place to train thanks to Member One Federal Credit Union and design/build firm Thor, Inc., General Contractors & Engineers of Roanoke. Hands-on law enforcement training exercises will now be conducted at the former Howard Johnson Motel building. Member One purchased the property in July and plans are underway to construct a multi-story building to also house branch facilities, offices and an operations center.
