TOMS RIVER, N.J. – A simple Mon-Oc Federal Credit Union community awareness program turned into a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Marketing/Branch Administration Vice President Jane Wittman-Roll. The Stanley Cup, won this year by the New Jersey Devils made a surprise visit to a recent Minor League Baseball BlueClaws game, where the $170 million credit union was sponsoring a celebrity signing of special lithographs by former Major League baseball player and Fox sportscaster Jay Johnstone. Mon-Oc FCU distributed free signed lithographs to the first 3,000 fans. The appearance of the Stanley Cup ensured a sold-out event – over 8,000 fans filled the stadium. “We couldn’t have been more delighted. The roar of the crowd when the Cup was carried onto the field was deafening, said Wittman-Roll. “And, as Mon-Oc’s Marketing VP, I was invited to a private viewing of the Cup in the Press Room.”
