A reference by publisher Mike Welch in his May 7th column regarding NCUA's okay for a part-time staff person to also serve on the board reminded me of how strongly I feel about CEOs being able to also be on the credit union's board of directors. Show me a credit union board of directors that discourages staff representation on its board and I will show you some selfish directors who only give lip service to teamwork.
