St. Anne's Credit Union, Fall River, Mass., has awarded $1,000 scholarships to 12 local high school students. The recipients were selected for their outstanding achievements both in school and in the community. Merck Sharp & Dohme Federal Credit Union, has presented its Raymond O. Hoffman Memorial Awards to five high school seniors. The awards recognize students who are active community, school or church volunteers. This year each winner received $5,000. This year's recipients include Joseph Witmer, Laura Stashefski, Kelli Ferguson, Robert Miler, III and Brian Gilman.
