MADISON, Wis. -The World Council of Credit Unions has reconfirmed that its 2003 International CU Forum will go on as scheduled, despite the war in Iraq and concerns about severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). Appropriately enough this year's theme is Credit Union Values: A Compass in a Changing World, and will address how in today's environment of uncertainty, insecurity and lack of trust in institutions, credit union values are driving members to join. The meeting is to take place in Brisbane, Australia from June 22 to 26. For more information visit www.woccu.org/brisbane.
