SAN JOSE, Calif. – Meriwest Mortgage, the wholly-owned mortgage CUSO of Meriwest CU, has partnered with Prudential California Realty to offer cash rebates to members who buy or sell their home through the realtor's SMARTMOVET program. The program is free to Meriwest's members who are making residential, commercial and investment purchases or sales. The cash rebates range from $100-$5,000, depending on the sale price of the member's home. For example, a member selling a home for between $400,000 and $499,999 would receive a $2,100 rebate. When buying or selling a home, every penny counts, said Anita Domondon, Meriwest Mortgage's VP of Loan Administration. Meriwest CU has nearly 64,500 members and $802.9 million in assets.
