USAlliance Federal Credit Union, Rye, N.Y., has celebrated the grand opening of its full-service Malden branch. Local dignitaries such as Malden Chamber of Commerce President Joseph A. Piantedosi and members attended the festivities. Great Lakes Credit Union, North Chicago, Ill., has held the grand opening of its 3,200 square-foot Gurnee Service Center. The facility will feature safe deposit boxes, ATMs, drive-up teller lanes, and a Kids' Corner for younger members. Erie School Employees Federal Credit Union, Pa., has selected design/build firm PWCampbell for the new Millcreek Township branch. The retail facility will provide members with enhanced retail capabilities and is projected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2003. Heritage Credit Union, Madison, Wis., has selected design/build firm La Macchia Group for its Chetek branch. The new 3,700 square foot facility with a focus on a "member friendly' design will include such homey touches as a fireplace in the lobby. Point Loma Credit Union, San Diego, Calif., has celebrated the grand opening of its Temecula branch. The new facility features around-the-clock convenience with an on-site ATM and extended hours of service. Leyden Credit Union, Franklin Park, Ill., has hosted a weeklong Open House to celebrate the successful move to their new building. The new facility provides members with drive-up teller windows, extended parking, a drive-up ATM and a very practical building design. Security Service Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, Texas, has recently broken ground on a new 7,000 square-foot service center in Schertz. The new service center, which will be open seven days a week, is scheduled for completion later this year and will be the most northern facility of SSFCU's 20 service centers in the greater San Antonio area.
