WOBURN, Mass. – EasCorp, one of the first corporates to offer its members eStatements, has a new retail marketing kit to help its credit unions attract eStatement users. EasCorp has 22 credit unions live on its eStatements program. Twenty of them use EasCorp's stand-alone product, which was released in 2002, while the other two use the eStatements program in conjunction with their home banking service provider. Two of EasCorp's users have obtained penetration levels of over 20% of their share draft accounts, and one user now has more than 2,000 statements going out electronically each month. EasCorp's marketing kit was unveiled at a Feb. 20 seminar, which featured presentations on service provider selection, product implementation, legal and regulatory considerations, and marketing strategies. The marketing kit includes a sample marketing plan, professionally designed marketing pieces (such as newsletters and Web site copy), lobby posters, statement inserts, fact sheets, and Web banner ads.
