PASADENA, Calif. – Wescom Credit Union, as part of the National Education Association's Read Across America program, has recently participated in the Glendora Unified School District and Glendora Public Library's 14th Annual Read-In entitled "Once Upon a Time." The program was designed to inspire children and show that reading is a fun and wonderful activity to be enjoyed at every age. Wescom CU Public Relations Specialist Max Sucee read and donated Patricia Polacco's The Bee Tree to Sellers Elementary School third graders. The book follows the hunt for a bee tree where a child learns the value of hard work. Sucee was one of 175 adult volunteers.
