WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – In light of growing diverse cultures in the United States, the Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) will be presenting two workshops on multi-cultural marketing on March 5 at the California/Nevada Credit Union League office in Rancho Cucamonga and March 12 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Walnut Creek. The workshop features agency executives who will share their expertise on how to reach multi-cultural markets and create approaches that accommodate linguistic and cultural differences. Featured speakers for the Southern California workshop include Tomas Tseng, director of marketing for the Cultural Access Group, one of the premiere ethnic marketing research firms and Deb Whitney, assistant vice president of business development at Riverside County Credit Union. Kerstin Goetz, vice president of creative services for Jungle Communications will be one of the featured speakers at the Northern California workshop. Co-founder of Jungle Communications, Goetz has substantial experience in multilingual and multi-cultural communications and will be joined by Christine Blackman, marketing manager at Yolo Federal Credit Union.
