Point Mugu Federal Credit Union, Ventura, Calif., has broken ground on its Camarillo branch. Slated to open fourth quarter of 2003, the 40,000 square-foot facility will be highly visible in the area. Those present at the ceremony included Camarillo Mayor Charlotte Craven, Camarillo Chamber of Commerce Board President John Williamson, PMFCU Board chairman Janice Ryno, members of the local business community, and the Point Mugu Federal Credit Union senior management team. Representatives from Congressman Gallegly's office as well as Assemblyman Strickland's office also joined the festivities. Fort Bliss Federal Credit Union, El Paso, Texas, has celebrated the grand opening of its newest Kenworthy branch. Members of the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Black Chamber of Commerce and Northeast representative John Cook were on hand to begin the festivities. The new branch boasts over 9,000 square feet of space, with drive through lanes, spacious offices, and 10 teller windows.
