ELGIN, Ill. – Well-known credit union lending expert Rex Johnson celebrated his 100th University of Lending class in November. Johnson, president of Lending Solutions Consulting, Inc. started the University of Lending seven years ago. As head of the University, Johnson has taught over 5,000 credit union employees in the art of lending. "I'm very proud that so many credit unions have chosen the University of Lending as the system to train their employees on how to make loans. I look forward to continuing to work with credit unions from across the country as we go for our next 100," said Johnson. Johnson has done things other than the University. He was the CEO at Baxter CU for 12 years, helping grow the CU to $300 million in assets.
