VACAVILLE, Calif. – Yet another billion dollar CU CEO job opened up when Bob Siravo stepped down from the $1.1 billion Travis CU to head up WesCorp. Patsy Van Ouwerkerk, formerly president/CEO of Alliance CU San Jose, was named as the new CEO of Travis. Van Ouwerkerk is one of many current credit union CEOs who once served in an executive position at The Golden 1 CU, which is fast becoming known as a CU CEO factory. She brings over 24 years experience to the job, starting in the industry in 1975 as a loan officer at Coast Central CU, Eureka, Calif. She joined The Golden 1 CU in 1978, working her way up to SVP; and was CEO of Columbia Community CU before joining Alliance CU.
