FLINT, Mich. – The Michigan Credit Union League Legislative Action Fund (MCULLAF) raised a record $90,550 in its 2002 Grand Raffle which ran from May 24-Oct. 21 and ended with the drawing of one lucky winner who was awarded $20,000. Some 150 CUs across the state participated in the raffle. They sold 18,110 tickets in total, beating last year's record of 16,425 tickets that raised $82,125. Money raised by MCULLAF is used to make campaign contributions to candidates for elective office in Congress. The league's other PAC, the Michigan Credit Union League Action Fund (MCULAF) makes contributions to candidates for the state legislature and other statewide elective offices.
