RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Recently Arrowhead CU employees came home armed with tools to help balance their lives. This year's Personal Development Day held at the Riverside Convention Center focused on teaching staffers how to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Nearly 700 employees attended the daylong session, which featured keynote speaker Jim Cathcart author of "The Acorn Principle" and "Relationship Skills". In addition, there were breakout sessions on topics ranging from work attitude to avoiding ineffective work habits. Workshops were offered on "Focusing on Goals" presented by Anthony Galie and "Stress Management" by Sally Thielfoldt. "We want our employees to live happy and fulfilling lives beyond the workplace," said Arrowhead CU President/CEO Larry Sharp. " We believe that a healthy, balanced life will lead to a better work performance and when you are able to achieve that balance -everybody wins."
