ONTARIO, Calif. – CO-OP Network, the nation's largest credit union ATM network, is helping a lot of kids with its underwriting gift of $500,000 to Children's Miracle Network for the 2002-2003 fund raising year. According to CMN officials, the donation, which ranks as one of the largest in underwriting support, will go a long way to ensuring that money raised at the local level stays at the local level. In addition to the underwriting gift, CO-OP will continue to donate a set amount for each transaction performed at any of its 15,000 surcharge-free ATMs. Last year over $180,000 was raised and all the funds directly benefited the 170 Children's Miracle Network hospitals throughout the nation. CO-OP Network's generosity will be recognized next year during the annual Children's Miracle Network Celebration broadcast from Walt Disney World, May 30, 31 and June 1 on a syndicated network of 200 television stations.
