JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – David Bohler, an employee of the Missouri Division of Credit Unions since 1977 and most recently as chief examiner, has been named deputy director. Division Director John Smith said the change in key personnel within the division was made to ensure greater efficiency and effectiveness in the examination and supervision of Missouri's 166 state-chartered CUs. Also as part of the division's personnel changes, Cynthia Taylor was appointed chief examiner. She will report to the deputy director and be responsible for the supervision of the examiner staff and overseeing the examination function. State-chartered credit unions in Missouri have a combined $6.6 billion in assets and serve more than one million members.
